Target Audience: Anyone looking for a job who is unsure about what steps to take, who to talk to, or what to say.
Do you feel uncomfortable when people ask you what kind of job you are looking
for, what you bring to the table, and how, specifically you would like them
to help you? Are you uncertain about what to include in your resume,
or how to talk about experience that isn´t directly related to the job
you are seeking?
Career research is finding out where the jobs are and what the decision-makers
will be looking for, so you can give yourself the best chance of getting work
you want. It´s also about ruling out jobs that aren´t a good
fit before you put too much energy into them, and uncovering positions you might
not have known existed, that might be perfect for you.
Some people don´t like to do research, others never stop doing research.
This web cast is for both kinds of people. We´ll show you
how to be focused and efficient, so you can find what you need to know quickly,
and we´ll tell you when to stop, so you can move to the next step armed
and ready to get that job!
