Target Audience: People who want to get more results from their networking efforts.
More than 70% of all jobs these days are found through networking. But
many job seekers invest a lot of time and energy going to events without getting
the results they hope for. It´s difficult to walk into a room of
strangers, find the right people, and make a good enough impression to get connected
to an opportunity. Thankfully, there´s an easier approach,
which is not only more effective, but also feels authentic and comfortable,
even if you hate mingling.
We´ll show you a model that enables you to increase the return you get from the time and energy you put into networking. We´ll discuss how to use your time wisely, set reasonable networking goals, work a room in a relaxed yet productive manner, and create a follow up system that sets you apart and gets you remembered. You´ll find out how to build your network to critical mass even if you are starting from square one. The best thing about this model is that it allows you to be yourself, which takes the awkwardness out of networking, and makes it a higher quality experience for both you and the people you meet.
